Nanoka Sweater No.1 は裾から上に向かって輪で編むプルオーバー. 身頃裾はニ目ゴム編みます. 身頃・右袖・左袖を脇下まで編み終えた後, 一体にして輪で編み続けますが, ヨークのシェイプ (ラグラン) は身頃と袖を減目ます。
Nanoka Sweater No.1 is worked seamlessly in a circular from bottom to top.
The pieces of body and sleeves are knitted separately and then joined in the round. The decrease is used to shape the yoke and a bateau neckline (boatneck).
Yarn:
Worsted, aran or chunky weight yarn that makes the correct gauge
Needles:
6.5mm (US 10.5) and 8mm (US 12) circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge:
10.5 sts * 18 rows = 10 cm/4 in. in stockinette stitch after blocking
Finished measurements after blocking:
Neck circumference : 56 cm
Bust circumference: 110 cm
Body length (to back hem): 67 cm
Sleeve length (underarm to cuff): 45 cm
Pattern:
Sleeves: from the cuff
Cuff:
Using 6.5mm needles.
Long- tail cast on or any cast-on methods you’d prefer. CO 32 sts and joins in the round.
Round 1: Place BOR marker, *k2, p2* to end (2x2 ribbing).
Repeat round 1 for 9 more times or to the length you’d prefer.
Sleeve:
Using 8mm needles.
Round 1: BOR, k16, pm, k16, BOR
Round 2-3: work in stockinette stitch (knit all stitches).
Round 4: BOR, k1, m1L, k to 1 sts before m, m1R, k1, sm, k1, m1L, k to 1 sts before BOR, m1R, k1, BOR.
Round 5: Work in stockinette stitch (knit all stitches).
Round 6: Repeat Round 4.
8 sts increased, 40 sts in total.
Round 7~: K, until sleeves measured to 48cm or the length you’d like.
Make two sleeves.
Place all stitches of sleeves on separate waste yarns or stitch holders. Break the yarns.
Body: start from the hem
Hem:
Using 6.5mm needles.
Long- tail cast on or any cast-on methods you’d prefer. CO 136 sts and join in the round.
Round 1: Place BOR marker, *k2, p2* for 17 times, pm, *k2, p2* to BOR (2x2 ribbing).
(68 sts for body front and 68 sts for the back)
Repeat round 1 for 11 more times or to the length you’d prefer.
Shape the hem: German short-row
Using 8mm needles.
Round 1-2: K to the end (knit all stitches).
German short-row:
rnd 1: BOR, k41, WT
rnd 2: p18, WT
rnd 3: k18, DS, k7, WT
rnd 4: p26, DS, p7, WT
rnd 5: k34, DS, k7, WT
rnd 6: p42, DS, p7, WT
rnd 7: k50, DS, k7, WT
rnd 8: p58, DS, p7, WT
rnd 9: k66, DS, knit to the BOR
Round 3~:BOR, DS, k to the end (knit all stitches).
Work in stockinette stitch (knit all stitches) until the length from the center hem of the back body to underarm is measured to 40cm or the length you’d like.
Join body and sleeves:
Using 8mm needles.
Join sleeves and body with the following order: body back -> left sleeve-> body front-> right sleeve
Sleeves: leave 3 sts before and after the BOR (that is 6 sts, and the BOR is on the center) on another waste yarn or stitch holder as underarm.
Body: leave 3 sts before and after the BOR and the other marker respectively (that is 6 sts, and the BOR is on the center) on another waste yarn or stitch holder as underarm.
Set- up rnd:
Join new yarn, start from the right side of the body, place new BOR, and k62 of the body back, join sleeve (this will be left sleeve) and k the sleeve, connect to body front and k62, connect to right sleeve and k to BOR.
Now we have 62 sts for the back, 6 sts for the underarm of the left sleeve, 62 sts for the front, and 6 sts for the underarm of the right sleeve, 34 sts for each sleeve. 192 sts on the needle in total.
Round 1: Work in stockinette stitch (knit all stitches).
Round 2: BOR, [SSK, k to 2sts before m, K2tog, sm, k to m, sm] repeat 3 times, SSK, k to 2sts before BOR, K2tog, BOR. 8 sts decreased. Now the body is 132 sts in total, while each sleeve is 32 sts.
Round 3: K all stitches.
Repeat Rnd 2 and 3 for 14 more times.
Repeat Rnd 2, when all the stitches of the sleeve are decreased.
Round 33: BOR, k to m, rm, k1, pm, k1, rm, k to m, rm, k1, place a new BOR, k1, remove BOR
Round 34: BOR, SSK, k to 2sts before m, K2tog, sm, SSK, k to 2sts before BOR, K2tog, BOR. 64 sts in total.
Round 35~39: k all stitches.
Bind off all the stitches.
Underarm:
Using Kitchener stitch to sew the underarm hole (6 sts). Weave the yarn.
